Retrieve the pathname of special system folders
Get and set the current 'working' folder
Set the system date and time
Read from, write to and delete from INI files
Easily read, write and delete strings, integers and binary data to/from the Windows registry
Install screen savers, get and set their activity and time-out
Disable/Enable Ctrl-Alt-Del, Alt-Tab, Microsoft key and other system keys
Query for all available printers on the system, set the default one and its properties
Retrieve the command-line string passed to your application
Convert long pathnames to short
Get a file's creator and type
Check whether a sound card is installed
