点击此处下载《The Best of Sade》—Smooth Operator 该如何形容Sade呢？这个问题一直困扰着我，确切的说：当我从一开始有写一篇关于Sade的东西，这个问题就开始在我的脑海里浮浮沉沉、漂泊不定。最后这个题目想出来了却是短的出奇，甚至可以说有些俗气；不过我实在想不出有比她更适合形容她的词语了了——那个词就是“性感！”。
Sade（Helen Folasade Adu）——生于尼日利亚易巴丹，长于英国艾塞克斯郡的爵士女歌手。也许从我们东方人的审美观来看她并不漂亮；但是拥有古铜肤色、丰厚嘴唇、优美曲线，特别是那把低沉略带沙哑的嗓子——以致她的一个眼神、一次微笑，她的呼吸、吐呐，都牵动着听者每一根神经。
我们不能从“性感”这个词语外表的含义去感受Sade，我所说的“性感”是指在Sade的歌声中你可以听出细腻的情感，那种不温不火、不急不燥、不张也不驰的倾诉。低沉沙哑的声音散发出成熟女性的魅力，分不清是源自母爱还是情爱。呵呵，如果我这么说多少有些小男人的感觉。不过这也不能完全怪我，要知道Sade的经历也就不会奇怪，为什么她的歌声会如此深沉和质感。Sade的父亲是尼日利亚人，母亲是英国人；4岁时父母离异她随母亲去了英格兰的克尔切斯特。也许是童年缺乏父爱的原因，令Sade学会了宽容、奉献，也造就她敏感、细腻的思维。这一切在她日后的歌声里得到了完美的体现。
